Salvador Dali’s paintings

Salvador Dali who was a Spanish painter, sculptor, graphic artist, and designer. He is the most famous super-realism artist in the world and he is the most exotic artist in my point of view. His work is full of imagination and equivoque, meaning in his artwork I can see a lot of deeper meaning inside instead of just a simple self-portrait or landscape. He uses his distinguished painting technic and enthusiasm conquered me when I saw it at the first time. The most famous work by him is named The Persistence of Memory. According to Totally history, “The Persistence of Memory was painted by Salvador Dali in 1931 and is one of his most famous works. It is currently housed in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. It has a huge fan following to date and is frequently referred to in popular culture.” I saw it in MOMA and I was so excited that I forget to breath. When you look at it so close, instead of from a book page, you will be shocked by it. It seems at ask you what is the meaning time? Is it real or just the thing that people imagine? What if it stopped forever? It seems like his work has some sort of magic that will make you think more. Also he was really focused on the advertisement of himself and usage of the mass media. We can see from the second picture, which is his iconic mustache. On the third picture, who is his wife Gala Dalí, she is an important inspiration for him to create his artwork for many years as well as his agent, and aided in redirecting his focus. Dalí was highly imaginative, and also enjoyed indulging in unusual and crazy behavior.
